AUTOMATIC CALLBACK
 INSTRUCTIONS

*66 TO CALL BACK A BUSY NUMBER:

Press receiver button and listen for dial tone.

Push *66. Dial 1166 on a rotary phone.

If the line is free, your call will be made. If the line is busy, you will hear a recorded message telling you the number is busy.
If the number you're calling becomes free in the next 30 minutes, your phone rings in a special way. When you pick up the phone, the connection will be made.

NOTE: You can still make and receive calls during the time you're waiting to be connected.

TO REDIAL THE LAST CALL YOU MADE:

Push *66. Dial 1166 on a rotary phone.

The number will be dialed automatically.

NOTE: If the number is in an area not served by Automatic Callback, a recorded message tells you that your call cannot be made. Your long-distance carrier must also be equipped with this technology for long-distance numbers outside your service area.

TO CANCEL AUTOMATIC CALLBACK:

Push *86. Dial 1186 on a rotary phone.

A recording lets you know your Automatic Callback request has been cancelled.

IMPORTANT FEATURES

Automatic Callback will only return calls you made. Use Automatic Recall to return incoming calls.
