Lift the receiver and press *61.  Follow the recorded instructions.

Note:  When you press *61 it will say your Selective Call Waiting Service is either on or off, this is the same as Selective Distinctive Ringing/Call Waiting.

Select up to 32 different numbers to be put in your list for a distinctive ring.

Numbers you have not added to your list can still be received.

To cancel Selective Distinctive Ringing, lift the receiver, press *61 and follow the recorded instructions.

Note:  If you are using a rotary dial telephone instead of a touch-tone, dial 11 in place of the * key.  For example *61 is 1161 on rotary phones.
 

You will experience the following ring patterns
with Selective Distinctive Ringing:

The numbers you have added to your list will ring two short rings when your service is turned on.

Numbers that are not in your list will ring as usual.

You will not receive a distinctive call waiting tone if your station has Call Waiting ID.
