Welcome to the Ogallala Yacht Club (OYC).

The yacht club is located at Lake McConaughy , Nebraska's largest man-made lake. OYC is active year round with an awards banquet in the spring, a summer racing series, the Trans-Mac (1 or 2 lap overnight race over the 24 mile length of the lake), and the Nebraska Governor's Cup, which draws racers from the entire Great Plains and Rocky Mountain region. The OYC has 40-50 active members with 50% participation of the membership in the summer series. On race Saturdays, the group convenes at a designated dock in "Million Dollar Bay" south of Kingsley Dam. Membership is $25 per year with an additional $20 for the summer racing series.
